One Million Pages

This summer has seen many more visitors to the Walking Europe site with the one millionth page viewed a couple of weeks ago. This is a remarkable acheivement given the scarce resources used.

The increased popularity is due in part to the new walks that have been added and shows that despite lack of financial resources, that success on the web can also be achieved with some hard work. True this site gets less attention than its sister Walking Britain but it still shows the amount of interest there is out there in the world.

SITE NEWS

New Spanish Walks
Recently added are some new walks in Spain. These all concentrate on Andalucia and were all completed during the winter months so are relevant for all of you heading south in the coming months.

New walks in France
These new additions reflect my summer walking. There are some routes from the Vanoise National Park near the Italian border plus some walks in the Vercors limestone country south of Grenoble.
