New English owned b&b with meals opens at the start of many great walks in this spectacular range of mountains.

Blue Lake Retreat is situated at the start of many recognised walks in the Pyrenees Mountains. The trek to Lac Bleu 1928m, Lac de Peyrelade 1919m, and Pic de Montaigu 2339m are just a few routes that immediately come to mind. The Tourmalet and the Pic de Midi de Bigorre are only a short drive away. We have three bedrooms two double rooms and one twin and can accommodate up to eight people.

You get the advantages of English speaking owners who understand the needs of walkers. They are able to help with suggested walks and itineraries. With flexibility you have the choice of Bed & Breakfast only or full board. You can stay from two nights to two weeks, the choice is yours. Tell us what you require and I am sure we can help.

With plenty of cheap flights available into the area, there is no excuse not to visit this wonderful part of France. The Pyrenees offer some superb walking with many well maintained paths. There are many summits within the capabilities of good walkers and as you might guess, the views are stunning.
