Pan 008 - The southern end of the 'Desfiladero de los Gaitanes' gorge at El Chorro. This view was taken from the east side of the river. The railway bridge on the right hand side of the frame. The sheer rock faces can be appreciated from this angle. One wonders why the walkway was allowed to fall into disrepair? It is a spectacular gorge and today the preserve of skilled climbers who manage to work their way along the remnants of the walkway to reach their favourite pitches.
