Welcome to "Walking Europe", which is an expanding hub for a range of web sites dedicated to walking in Europe and beyond.

The concept began with Walking Britain, which was soon followed by Walking Switzerland. The next stage of development is now under way with the addition of content from France, Spain, Italy and Greece. Other European countries will follow in due course. As people travel further afield content from other continents will be included, hence the slight adjustment to the title.

Coverage is limited but with time this hub should develop to form a key resource for walkers in Europe and beyond, presented in much the same way as the many pages of high quality content that form Walking Britain.

Coming soon are further walks from France and Spain together with some more 'exotic' routes from Asia and North America.

Alongside is a selection of content from various sections of the site providing some idea of the scope and depth of what is on offer.
