The Aiguilles Rouges is a rugged chain of peaks. Perhaps less impressive than others mountain ranges nearby, they provide a backdrop for some excellent walks. This scene was taken at l'Index on the start of the walk to Lac Blanc.

New Spanish Walks
Recently added are some new walks in Spain. These all concentrate on Andalucia and were all completed during the winter months so are relevant for all of you heading south in the coming months.

These new additions reflect my summer walking. There are some routes from the Vanoise National Park near the Italian border plus some walks in the Vercors limestone country south of Grenoble.
